November 2025

bla bla bla

Hi all!

Here’s what’s coming up

I’ve got some small paintings, drawings and original hand-drawn tour posters for sale; I’ve amassed more than I thought and it’s been lovely looking through them all. I can also do good quality prints of these if that’s more affordable / preferable. I’ve named them all, if you're interested in the original, a print or a commission then you can email back and I’ll give you the prices.

Some personal drawings and paintings first;

‘two cats’ from December 2024

‘two cats again’ from December 2024

‘winter man’ from October 2023

‘trees in norfolk’ from April 2022

‘she is naked’ from June 2022

‘a tiny painting’ from February 2025

A collection of tour posters from the last few years (as a side note, I feel embarrassed about writing my own name this many times and constantly having to refer to myself in the third person, if your thinking about starting a music thing where your the main guy then I would HIGHLY recommend not using your own name to save yourself the shame).

This is from the ‘NO PROBLEM’ tour last year (2024), this was the UK leg in which there ended up being many problems; namely our super trouper tour manager / FOH engineer who was also the support (I know) got sick and the van got scratched and it was cold but I think we had a good time. We had a better time in Europe, that started a couple of weeks after the UK leg. I’ll try and find the poster for that.

This is from this years tour that I had to move as I got a job in commercial archaeology and really needed the dough. I apologise for moving these dates and I hope it didn’t inconvenience anyone too much, if I could just work in music I would. It was a great job though and I got extremely strong but I did lose all of that muscle within two weeks of hard chilling. Anyway this is the poster for that ghost tour (don’t worry I won’t do that again). All of these moved dates are in January now and you can get tickets for them here naimabock.com

This is from last years east coast US leg. I remember arriving into Boston on my own and a friend of a friend picking me up from the airport and taking me to their street halloween party, it was very cosy but this was the first tour where I wasn’t smoking and didn’t know what to do with myself in the dead spaces. I was also completing my third year at university and got to use the Harvard library to write some bad essays.

Sorry about the slightly shoddy quality photo of this one, it’s the only photo I could find and i’m not home right now so i’ll do a better scan when I get home. This is one of the many ideas for the BAMDL album cover, then scrapped but I quite like the drawing. I would have done this in autumn 2023.

Here’s the tour poster I did for when I supported Andrew Savage (Ive been very lucky with support tours). Ive got the full one finished (all the writings is filled in). Both of A. Savages’ solo albums are in my top five favourite albums ever made so I was delighted to go on this tour and partly ruin his last show in Berlin with my out of tune backing vocals. Thanks Andrew for having me!

what it says on the tin, 2023 shows, I spelt remaining wrong which was frustrating because this poster took me AGES. I was supporting Squid on some EU dates and then did a co-headline with Gently Tender. I very much regret not keeping any track of where I’ve been / good places to eat etc in Europe but i’m going to start doing that from now on. I do know that Pension Homeland in Amsterdam is the best hotel / cafe and restaurant, as well as Cafe Weidinger in Vienna (kindly shown to me by lovely Magda) being the best cafe / restaurant i’ve been to yet. There’s some other places especially comic book stores that I regret not writing down their names in Denmark.

This is from the first US tour me and Oliver Hamilton did under the NB name; we went with Holly Whitaker as well and had much much fun.

This isn’t for sale because I can’t find the drawing but I found it when I was looking for old posters and thought it was very sweet because it was the first band show I did under NB. I could do a print of it if someone wants. I ended up using those same birds for the Giant Palm album cover.

Here’s another early idea for the BAMDL cover

And another, the text looks a bit like blood so I didn’t go with it.

Anyhoo, I won’t inundate you with loads of things to buy but your purchases help a lot and help albums be made and shows be played if that's something that your into.

All the links for the upcoming tours are here and I’ve announced some EU shows in April which you can buy tickets for here too!

For T-shirts (they also come with a little drawing) posted directly by yours truly, then you go here;

Thanks a lot and hope you enjoy having a look at the drawings and posters and early album cover ideas xxxxxx
